Necessary documentation to request paternity tests with DNA probes:

  • Photocopies of Id/Passport of the test subjects.
  • In the case of an unborn child not yet registered in the Civil Registry Office: photocopy of the statement, mandatorily issued by any Maternity in the country, noting that on the date "X", mother "Y" gave birth to an individual of the M/F sex, child of "Y".
  • If the child is not registered, the mother's consent is required (in the provided form).
  • If the alleged father has assumed the child, the mother's consent is not required; neither are maternal identity documents (the only required documents are those of the people involved in the DNA testing).
  • Two passport-sized photographs of the adults involved in the test; 2 bus pass-like pictures of the child; If you don't have this type of picture, you must attach a PHOTO of the CHILD where THEIR FACE IS CLEARLY VISIBLE.
(these pictures must be signed on the back by those involved; the child's guardian signs for them).
